I started down the mountain several years ago
Seems I couldn’t move much faster fallin’ down this path ya know

A beautiful autumn view of Quebec city

रमणीय देश कनाडा के के पूर्व-मध्य में स्थित प्रांत, ‘केबेक’ (Quebec) के नाम से जाना जाता है I प्रांत की विशेष बात है यह है की यहाँ की ज़्यादातर आबादी और मुख्य भाषा फ्रेंच है, और इसी वजह से यहाँ के संगीत में भी (जो की “केबेकोईस संगीत” के नाम से जाना जाता है) फ्रेंच संगीत की असर दिखाई पड़ती है I यह संगीत ‘Quebec city’ (जो की केबेक की राजधानी है) की ६०० वे स्थापनादिन पर प्रस्तुत एक एल्बम में से है I यह संगीत, ‘फ्रेंच कॉफे’ संगीत से साम्यता रखता है जिसमे गिटार का और बेज़ गिटार का मुख्यतः प्राधान्य रहता है I तो सुनिए यह खुशनुमा केबेकोईस संगीत…

अक्सर ऐसा होता है की किसी प्रांत के संगीत की वजह से उस प्रांत की पहचान होती है, जैसे की ‘गरबा’ से गुजरात या फिर ‘भांगड़ा’ से पंजाब I कुछ वैसा ही दुनियाके विभिन्न देशो में देखा गया है… मिसाल के तौर पर आयरलेंड, जब भी आईरिश संगीत बजता है तो मानो… समा खुशनुमा हो जाता है…. बड़े बड़े खेत खलिहान, नाचते झूमते कूदते लोग, सूरज की नर्म किरणे, ठंडी हवाएं, आनंद से खाना-पीना, पीले घास के बड़े बड़े बंधे ढेर, और बस आनंद ही आनंद… सच में विषादयोग की समाप्ति हो जाती है I आईरिश संगीत में मुख्यतः वायोलिन, फ्लूट, गिटार, हार्मोनिका, एकोर्डियन और वोकल्सका प्राधान्य होता है, लेकिन जो मजे की बात है वो है बजानेकी शैली… आप सुनेंगे तो खुद ही जान जायेंगे… यह गाना “दानु” नामक आईरिश बेन्ड का है और जो रिधम में यह गाना बज रहा है उसे ‘जिग’ ( या जिग्स) कहते है…. तो लीजिये सुनिए यह खुशनुमा आईरिश संगीत…
